Description

Explosion proof fan refers to a motor that is used in places with flammable and explosive gases to avoid safety accidents caused by flammable objects.
Explosion proof fan is used in occasions where there is a risk of explosion. In addition to the fan characteristics required by the working conditions, it must also meet the requirements of explosion protection.
The flow parts of explosion proof fan (impellers, volutes, etc.) need to be made of soft and hard materials. Generally speaking, between the rotating parts and the fixed parts, one is required to be soft and hard to prevent failures. Inter-friction or collision produces sparks. The more common material matching is that the blades, front disc, rear disc and blade rivets of the impeller are made of 2A01 duralumin, and the volute is made of galvanized sheet.
